How we started

Well, where do I start....

I've always had a passion for art. I just never knew I had a passion for nails for many years. One day I was very tired from working my third shift government job. I needed my nails done , because I tried to keep some sense of pampering myself, but I was honestly to tired to go to the nail shop. So, I thought to myself I can do this well at least I thought I could right?... laughing out loud at that thought that day. I decided that I was getting ready to part ways with my government job, because it was taking a toll on my health. So, after I quit my job I had a lot of idle time on my hands and I began to research schools for manicuring only.  I didn't have the passion to do full cosmetology and to my surprise it was a local school that had just that a manicuring program. I  finally enrolled and waited for the new class to start, but in the meantime I started purchasing all kinds of nail items. After time and research some of the items were not legal and healthy for nails. Thankfully I started learning and researching. I started school in the fall of 2013 and completed the program in the spring of 2014. Immediately thereafter I took my state board test and passed with flying colors and obtained my license.

I've continued my education and research for years to produce nothing but the highest quality of nail care and continuance of healthy nails.. As. well I keep up the latest trends and nail fashion. Quality over quantity is what is produce here at The Glam Studio. I do not believe in rushed service(s) and if that is what you are wanting then The Glam Studio is not for you.
